Playgroup

We are currently in search of a committee person to take over this activity. Please contact the association President HERE if you are interested.

Playgroup is the perfect place for you if…

We would love for you to join playgroup! Meetings times are typically a few hours from mid-morning until after lunch. The atmosphere is laid back, nothing planned other than to let the children play together and make friends. The host for the week provides a meal and drinks for the kids and their parents and the opportunity to play with other children in the neighborhood.

Egg Hunt

The egg hunt is typically the Saturday morning before Easter. Each family that participates fills one dozen eggs per child and turns them in to the person in charge (see the “Association” page for that information). The hunt takes place on the no-name street off Dogwood. The hunt takes place by age group with the youngest going first to find the easily located eggs and then the older children are released last to find the more difficult eggs. Breakfast treats are provided and sometimes the Easter Bunny shows up.

Halloween

The ghosts and goblins (children and their parents) provide snacks, desserts, etc.  Everyone is encouraged to dress up. There are games and activities and trick or treating to keep the ghouls busy and the parents get to have a great time too.
